There are many books and several movies, including a little one called Rudy about Notre Dame football.

The University of Our Lady in South Bend, Indiana, has a huge following.

It has a legacy that is unparalleled. It was built by coaches like

Rotny and Ara Persegian and Lou Holtz and the current winningest Irish coach in the

history of the program, Brian Kelly. And of course by players like Joe Montana and Terry Hanratty

and the dozens of current Notre Dame players on NFL rosters. There is a heart to Notre Dame football

that beats deeply in those who love the Irish. Some people have deep generational connections

to the school and then other fans have never set foot on the campus. But every Saturday in their

hometowns, they put on their Irish gear and

they listen to every note of here come the Irish and get really excited to watch Notre Dame

football with their family and friends. And all of those people, no matter their connection,
