| 0:30.6 | and stop eating that and don't do this |
| 0:33.3 | and count your macros and all this stuff. |

| 0:36.6 | we don't know where to go with it. |
| 0:39.1 | So what I'm really going to touch on today is what are macronutrients because that's a really |
| 0:44.1 | key word that it's just everywhere and can be confusing to many people. So macros stand for |
| 0:51.5 | macro nutrients. So what we have are macronutrients and micronutrients. |
| 0:57.3 | Our macronutrients are just protein, carbohydrates, and fat. |
| 1:02.3 | Those are our three macronutrients. |
| 1:04.8 | The reason why they do counting macros is some people find it a little bit less restrictive |
| 1:10.0 | than counting calories. |
| 1:11.9 | So you get your calories and you break it into how many carbs do I need, how much fat do I need, |
| 1:18.5 | how much protein do I need? And this varies depending on everybody. But for carbohydrates, |
| 1:23.8 | it can be recommended between 45 to 55% of your calories. |
