Imagine your alone in your bedroom, sitting on the edge of your bed.

Your eyes are closed as you listen very carefully to the sweet and beautiful music that fills the room.

Other tinny rolls might be listening to rap or pop or hip-hop, not you.

Your favorite musician is James Galway, the greatest flute player in the world.

His music fills your soul with joy as it swirls and pulses and sores.

As the song comes to an end, you look down at the shiny object that's resting in your lap.

Your flute, your most prized possession, it feels like yours.

Even though, really, you don't own it, you borrow it from your school.

You gently grasp it in your hands and carefully line your fingers up with its many keys and holes.

Slowly you raise the flute to your lips, fill your lungs with air and blow.

Oh, it sounds like nails on a chalkboard! It's awful!
