My guest this week are Scott and Seth Abid, otherwise known as the Avid Brothers.

I love this band, and I have for a long time.

Such an honor to have them on the show and honor to sit down, to have the opportunity to

sit down with them on this show and a little surprise at the end in the form of music that maybe nobody has ever heard.

I was like, really guys? You're going to debut that here on the forward? I love you.

So, uh, quite, quite the is something that the family and I love to do obviously not 100 degrees but I got to tell

you this this community is amazing people are amazing mountain biking is world class

and so just great to be here before we left Max had his eighth birthday party happy birthday Max Armstrong had the phone pit in the backyard to all you parents

out there that are planning a birthday party when somebody comes up and says,

oh you ought to have a phone pit. Listen to me. Don't do it. You will thank me later.

Nonetheless, Max, happy 8th.

The other thing I want to say before I get, we get to the Avitz is,

this is not going to be, I don't know the average age of the

listener of this show I can kind of guess but I'm 45 about to be 46 and it really sucks getting older and I'm you know just the dumb

ass that at 45 still acts and thinks that he's 25. So what I'm talking about is burning the

candle at both ends, you know, traveling all around the country, working hard, training hard, eating like crap, drinking too much

alcohol. And you know in the last couple of months I think my body has just said it's like a little tap on the

shoulder like hey dude you are 46 years old about to be 46 you are not a kid

anymore slow the F down.

So that is what I'm going to do.
