And we have the audible live here tonight on Thursday night football. We are seeing the Buffalo Bills. They have a lead right now with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 17 to.

I don't know if it's 10 or 13. I don't know if the Bucks scored there at the end or if they punt it. I apologize there we are skittin the room set up for this week.

Okay cool 17 10 so the bills are leading right now but again as always I'm joined with my good friend Matt Waldman and Matt welcome in how are you doing this week.

I'm doing pretty good pretty good how about yourself.

I'm doing good you know I mean watching my team so I'm a little bit nervous obviously I'm more nervous about the what's going on in the blue 10 a little bit with Josh Allen here I think that there's been a shoulder that's been going on probably since it sounds like the Giants game and he did spend some time in the tent here tonight.

And so it came back in score to touchdown they they did a long drive about a 75 year drive after he was in the tent most of that was on the ground and then they found out don't concade our guy for a 22 year touchdown drag across the middle.

So that was good but the nerves are there on how this is going to play out because it's kind of we saw a problem with his arm last year kind of pop up with the elbow last year and now we've got a shoulder problem going on.

And certainly plays a reckless style of football so it's one of those things that you're kind of riding that razor's edge with Josh Allen probably more than a lot of mobile quarterbacks he's actually the re you know and I hate to inflame the nerves a little bit or flame the fires a little bit more here but just from you know from the standpoint of where I'm coming from with it.

The fantastic quarterback the big thing is that when people often talk about quarterbacks who you know they in the past in the recent past and say they shouldn't be running because they inflict injury on themselves and they put themselves in harm's way.

They're actually talking about guys like Josh Allen they weren't talking about guys like Omar Jackson and I think that that's the that's kind of the difference with all of this.

You hope that Josh Allen can kind of calm down a little bit and be able to find you know the open man quicker and find his hot a little quicker that's something that you got criticized for this week in the media bit and one of the guys that they were given examples about that we saw with our you know friends the cover that was the cover one guys over it.

You know the Buffalo they did a good job of showing how you know Josh Allen missed a lot of hearts and and Clio Shakira was one of those guys who they showed repeatedly was wide open on plays and wasn't hitting them well this week Josh is hitting Clio Shakira maybe it isn't on the hot but he is definitely finding Clio Shakira who's open today and leading Buffalo.

Receivers was 69 yards he had a nice catch and run up the right sideline earlier in the game and then on a scramble play he they found them wide open in the deep flat up the same boundary so you know it's nice to see that he's diversifying his.

You know diversifying the folks that he needs to you know find and maximize in some of these young talents who need that experience and have the skill set but hopefully yeah he can he can find a what way to play a little less recklessly and still be productive.

Yeah and I think that so I talked in base camp a little bit this week that we're talking about kind of the adjustment with Dawson knocks being out and on Twitter as well and obviously Dalton concait is is a player that needs to step up big with the absence of Dalton of Dawson knocks and quit and more is the backup tied in is out of this game to but I think the adjustment they'll see over the next however long because.

Nox is on I are now is kind of the more those 11 personnel those three wide receiver sets that they used quite heavily when Brian table was there when they had Colby's Lee John Brown those players and kind of they used them a lot last year and I think Clio Shakira is that guy that really is stepping up that has the opportunity here to kind of serve as that guy that can he can work out of the slot he can work on the boundary he can work down field and so he can kind of.

Add that element there and I think it's a great move there and the cats out of the bag a little bit now if you were able to get him in your league this past week you're you played probably paid a lot less than what you will on waivers next week but that is what that is but it's a I think that that's an adjustment that they're going to have to make though outside of that 12 personnel they're not protecting Josh Allen is part of the problem and so by going to those two tight ends it's a double edge sword because you have more production there but you're also bringing more defenders inside.

Whereas if you spread people out a little bit more than that gives Josh Allen a little bit more freedom to make a guy miss on his own I think relative to driving some traffic more in his direction yeah without a doubt you know and so I mean at you know at the stage of the game you're just told you know this is kind of that turning point for Alan because I'm not I know that we think Alan is a fully developed prospect but I think the real answer is is that he he has shown.

That his athletic ability has been kind of a trump card for him his strength and his quickness and that big arm and he's been able to throw himself out of trouble but it and maybe sometimes he's gotten away with a little bit more than he should have and I think that we're at the stage where defenses are kind of figuring that out and he's going to have to now take that next step to really become a truly elite quarterback in terms of.

Not stats because he's capable of elite production but in terms of an elite mind for the game and I think when if he can get there and I think Matthew Stafford needed some time to be someone who could do that and I don't know if he's even there yet late in his career but he's better than what he was and I think Alan's kind of in that same spot Stafford was like you know mid career Detroit where you want but just with you know easier defenses to face because.

In terms of things being spread out and more past friendly offenses at this point of his career nothing to take away from Alan at all i'm just saying it's just kind of what.

How footballs changed a little bit with that but overall i mean that's looking good you know if my dog starts barking it's only because he's afraid that Baker may feel it's coming back to Cleveland.
