Hey and welcome to Aethyst Experience. Too many Christians think their morals come from the Bible,

and that God is a source of all that is good, which brings up some questions. Question one,

should everyone who works on the Sabbath be stoned to death? Number is 15, 32 through 36, says yes,

specifically while the Israelites were in the the wilderness a man was found gathering wood

on the sabbath day those who found him gathering wood brought him to moses and aaron and the whole

assembly and they kept him in custody because it was not clear what should be done to him then the lord

said to moses the man must die the whole assembly must stone him outside the camp so

the assembly took him outside the camp and stoned him to death as the Lord commanded Moses which brings

up the question if you're a Christian are you getting stoned to death because you're watching this

show instead of doing whatever is you're supposed to be doing

on a Sabbath? Question two, would it be moral for a U.S. soldier to forcibly marry a woman from any

country we've gone to war against? Deuteronomy 21, 10 through 12 says yes. When you go to war against

your enemies and the Lord your God delivers them into your hands and you take captives. If you notice among

the captives a beautiful woman and are attracted to her, you may take her as your wife. Bring her

home and have her shave her head and trim her nails. Another question is, what should you do with

a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his parents? Should that person, should that son be stoned?

Deuteronomy 21, 18 through 21, says yes.

If any man has a stubborn and rebellious son, he will not obey his father or his mother.

And when they chastise him, he will not even listen to them.

And his father and mother shall cease him and bring him out to the elders of his city at the gateway of his hometown.

And it shall say to the elders of this city, this son of ours is stubborn and rebellious.

He will not obey us.
