This week, Pope Francis said, there's only one God, but each of us has a language to arrive at God.

Some are Sheik, Muslim, Hindu, Christian, and they are different paths to God.

While I am not convinced that there is a God,

I do appreciate the sentiment of inclusivity

and pushing it back against sectarian differences.

In fact, within hours, all Catholic Cardinals, bishops, priests, and lay people around the world came together in

celebration of the fact that the Pope had clarified what God wants and they reached out to different

faiths to come together in peace and

unity and I am totally kidding of course. Catholic officials immediately

tried to walk back the words of Pope Francis who as a reminder is the vicar of Christ. One

Archbishop cited Act 17 where St Paul acknowledges that the pagan Greeks were

looking for God but condemned their false religion. That Archbishop then directly

contradicted the Pope who, as a reminder, Catholic doctrine holds to be God's literal representative

on earth. The Archbishop said, simply put, not all religions

seek the same God and some religions are both wrong and potentially dangerous. To me as a non-believer this is just normal

human behavior it's just people arguing over their Jesus fan fiction.

But to believers shouldn't this reveal something shouldn't it make it a little clearer that these people are not

deriving their positions from some universal truth but from their own

preferences and interpretations? If you believe that the Pope is right or that he is wrong,
