Islamic scripture says during the pre-Islamic period of ignorance I saw a she monkey

surrounded by a number of monkeys they were all stoning it because it had committed

illegal sexual intercourse. I too stoned it along with them. 849, Book 63, Hadith 74.

This is an Islamic Hadise that narrates a story

told by a companion of the Prophet Muhammad.

His name is, or was Amreb Nemay Moon.

This guy claimed to have witnessed a group of monkeys stoning

a she monkey for committing adultery,

or Islamically known as Zena.

And if it wasn't bizarre enough, he then adds that he himself

picked up stones and joined the monkeys in stoning her. This story is bizarre in so many ways.

Apparently monkeys have legal system and

enforcement mechanisms. I wonder if they are also have like monkeys that

practice law or if they have courts. I wonder how Muslims would explain that no one else has ever

witnessed monkeys behaving in such a way. The Zenah law they are enforcing suggests that monkeys have

marriage contracts, meaning that monkeys are only

allowed to have sex with monkeys they are married to. Do they write these down somewhere?

As a monkey, how am I to prove that my partner and I are having sex legally?

I'm Rebbne Muim, basically the Sahaba or a companion of Prophet Muhammad,

a human participated in the stoning.

I mean, is it animal abuse to stone monkeys?

Or are you just being intolerant of their culture if you don't?
