Some Christians have said to me,

okay S.R.

Some churches and some believers behave badly,

but they aren't following Jesus' teachings.

You know, if you look at Jesus' teachings teachings you can't say those are bad.

All right challenge accepted.

Let's look at Mark chapter 11 verses 24 and 25.

It goes,

therefore I tell you whatever you ask for in prayer,

believe that you have received it,

and it will be yours. And when you stand praying,

if you hold anything against anyone,

forgive them so that your father in heaven may forgive you

your sins.

These are absolutely terrible teachings, okay?

The first verse tells you just believe that you have something and you're going to have it.

I mean this is beyond wishful thinking, it is literally delusion.

And the second verse is probably even worse because it says, oh, just like forgive somebody no matter what they've done to you,

simply because God forgives you when you do stuff that he doesn't like.

But what if that person has done something truly heinous and has absolutely

no remorse? No recognition of the harm that they've caused and absolutely no attempts to make amends?

Oh well, screw it. Forgive them because you know God
