This is Ramp, I'm Doug Fabrizio. A little afternoon yesterday, the conservative activist Charlie Kirk was killed on the campus of Utah Valley University. He was in one of those

shade tents that he sets up for these events at college campuses. He's done dozens of these. And the setup was pretty straightforward. Kirk invited people to debate him on any issue they can come up with. The concept is even branded on those tents. It says, prove me wrong. Kirk spent a few minutes working the crowd, throwing out, make America great

hats. He had just settled into his exchange when he was shot. Authorities believe from several

hundred yards away, a campus building called the Lossi Center. There was security footage and some

phone cameras that captured what seemed to be the shooter laying on the roof of a building and then running away. Two people were initially taken into custody, but they've been released, so the hunt for Kirk's killer is still underway. Law enforcement officials, including an FBI agent, held a press conference this morning.

He confirmed Kirk's Killer is still at large, but they had recovered the weapon apparently

used in the attack, a high-powered bold-action rifle.

They've also found in a wooded area near campus, a footprint, a palm print, the impression
