in the studio in just a few minutes with Mandy Aftel. She is a natural perfumer. She is a curator in her museum in

Berkeley. I mean, she's a biographer, she's a flavorist, she's an author. How many books does she have now? I

think she's like nine. But I think this might be her tenth. And this, when I say

this, is the reason we're having her on now a timely interview because earlier this week

on Halloween she put out her latest book, The Museum of Sent, exploring the curious and wondrous world of fragrance.

And wow is this interview wondrous.

But also this book!

Jess and I are obsessed with this book.

This is like the book where if I were like a little kid and I got this book, I would take

this book around like a Linus blanket.

I don't need to be a little kid.

I've literally been carrying it from room to room.

Now I'm going to look it in this room.

Oh, I liked that picture.

I need to go back to that illustration.

What is, I didn't even get to talk to her about the ontacks,

the shell that has the smell.

I just need to go to the museum.

Anyway, the book is amazing, gorgeous gift for a perfume lover in your life.
