On September 16, 1994, in the small rural farming district of Ruah outside Harare in Zimbabwe,

and least 60 school children from

5 to 12 years of age were out in the school playground during break time while their teachers

were having a short meeting inside. The only adult outside with them was the tuck shop mistress.

The children were busy playing Chase and other school yard games when suddenly something

dramatically changed.

What happened has gone on to be talked about since that day, with many reputable researchers

looking into it, including a Pulitzer Prize-winning one.

Jean Christie, for Africa's Mail and Guardian, wrote 62 kids between the ages of six and

12 saw aliens land and get out of their little ship.

When the kids returned to class, they were completely freaked and couldn't stop

gnaturing about little men. Teachers told them to shut up, as teachers are wont to do,

and classes proceeded. But the next day, the school received a bunch of calls from parents

wanting to know why their kids were spooked.

Out in the schoolyard the previous day, there were a number of strange silver objects in the sky

above them, the children said, and one of them, the largest one, began to descend.

Just before this, the objects had somehow disappeared and reappeared a short

distance away without showing their route of travel. One minute they were there, the next

they were in a different spot, entirely. The largest object then landed next to the school playground,

in some dry brush fenced off from the playground. It made no noise.

Then out came a strange man who stood on the roof of the object.
