Summary

922: Bobby Weed is a high profile golf course architect who was mentored by World Golf Hall of Fame designer, Pete Dye. In addition he was also the PGA Tour’s first in-house designer that resulted in six TPC Courses and the World Golf Village. One of the most fascinating courses he’s designed, which we discuss at length is Grove XXIII, former NBA Star Michael Jordan’s ultra exclusive course with one of the greatest practice facilities in the world. In this conversation we also discuss how amateur golfers can take advantage of a designer’s mindset when navigating a new course.
