rain this morning. So I used it as sort of umbrella. Anyway, all eyes will be on the Court of Appeal this afternoon for a decision on whether the Bell Hotel in Epping can continue to accommodate asylum seekers.

If you're listening to this podcast after the decision, of course, you'll know all about it.

The Home Office has brought the appeal arguing the human rights of asylum seekers outweigh the concerns of local people.

Health Minister Stephen Kinnick told Times Radio the appeal was necessary

despite his frustrations with asylum hotels.

My view is that the views of local people and local communities are absolutely essential.

And we have to recognise that the situation we're in is deeply, deeply frustrating.

I am as frustrated as every person in the country that these hotels are being used for

asylum seekers, it's just not what they should be being used for.

Well, there you go.

He does, I've said this before, he does sound genuinely frustrated, Stephen Kinnick.
