Acts chapter 14 is where we left off in our studies.

So if you turn there, we left Paul and Barnabas kind of in part of their, his first missionary journey.

And we've been sort of tracking that, you know, on a map on Wednesday night.

I'm just going to give you kind of the fast version here.

But, you know, the whole thing kind of starts in Antioch of Syria. There's two Antiochs,

one of Syria. And then from Antioch, we saw them go to the coast and catch a ship. The Bible

tells us they made all the way over to Cyprus, that island just in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Israel

in Lebanon today. But the two main cities, Salamis and Paphos, were the two places they stopped,

and then to Perga, and on they went. You know, it's interesting because at each place there was kind

of different responses and different things that happened. The second Antioch there is a different one.

It's one in Turkey, not the one in Syria.

And then Iconium is where we left off on Wednesday night.

And Chapter 14 picks up in Iconium,

but what happens there, just to kind of get you up to speed,

to get to our text.

You know, Wednesday, we're going to study all of chapter 14, but we want to zoom in on the

little section, but there's a little bit of a story to catch you up. So in Iconium, there was,

you know, Paul and Barnum was preaching the gospel. There were some miracles that happened

and what have you, and it was an amazing thing,

but some Jews that were contrary to the gospel.

They hated Paul, and they hated Barnabas, and they stirred up trouble.

And it became a big deal there in Iconium, and we're going to see on Wednesday there was even sort of a riot kind of starting,
