semi-adolescence in Liverpool in Liverpool in the in the 80s I came here to

Liverpool to live when I was 18 and I was struck by the minute Liverpool were doing

bits. There were flags everywhere just hanging out a shop windows out of flat windows on cars.

It was just a great. It was almost the day after a semi-final win you knew that the build would happen and

I remember going down Church Street in the 80s and W.H. Smiths would suddenly have the stands outside

with loads and loads of flags and banners.

And this feels like not the first time.

There's been smattering of it down the last decade

or so when Liverpool have reached latter stages of things.

But this feels bigger. We were just talking off air about how most of the main

arterial roads in Liverpool have now had pop-up shops with flags and banner shops just ruthless stuff it's like bomb

nights but for for LFC and it's been brilliant to see if you're living under a rock

we are actually talking about the Champions League final against Tottenham on the 1st of June in

Madrid which is probably what we've all been talking about forever because this buildup has been so long.

Andy, it does feel, like Rob said, different this time around last year.
