Folks, I was a little reluctant to cover this story, but I think it's an important story, especially from a police perspective.

And we all know that ICE is being deployed, Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, is being

deployed throughout this country in a lot of cities that are high crime cities, a lot of

blue states, which people find to be highly political.

However, that doesn't change things in regards to when you're a sworn law enforcement

officer and you receive a calls for help from a civilian, from a citizen,

there's no second guessing. You're going, no matter how dangerous, no matter how far away,

no matter who that person is, you're going. The same thing if law enforcement,

a law enforcement agency, whether they be federal,

state, local, whether they be the FBI, the ATF, ICE, or any other number of federal law

enforcement agencies, but it makes it very difficult for law enforcement agencies,

specifically local police,

when their city or their state is a sanctuary city.

Because clearly the policy of that state,

of that city,

is not to assist ICE.

And Chicago has a, it's called the Trust Act.

And the Trust Act stands, the CPD, the Chicago Police Department,
