Summary

Another weekend of Premier League action passes with VAR once again takes centre stage, time then on Blood Red to talk about the technology. There has been plenty of LiVARpool jibes thrown about throughout the course of the season, but with the Reds not in action until tonight, this weekend has allowed a chance to sit back and see how it has effected the rest of the league. With Chelsea's game with Tottenham coming under the spotlight, so too Man City's win at Leicester Guy Clarke and Matt Addison talk through the pros and cons of the technology and how best to try and get on board with it - and ultimately whether or not it's worth all the fuss. title in 30 years but of course the first year with VAR fully operational in the Premier League time to get

down to talk about it. Matt, thanks for joining me. How are you? Very good, thank you, yeah. Another

0:50.0

big weekend of VAAR and obviously it's been so divisive this season it's

0:54.8

probably about time that we address that yeah it certainly has I mean it we did do an

0:58.8

agenda I think it was around September time talking about VAR at the time. I think it was after the Napoli defeat

1:04.4

and Newcastle United at home, which I suppose was probably the first real time. It affected

1:08.6

Liverpool. We've all seen the livval pool this weekend. I've even Varchesta City, whenever a team's affected by it,

1:16.1

VAR gets crammed in to their name.

1:18.3

But it has really been a divisive issue, I think that's probably fair to say in the two of us as we found

1:24.7

out sitting in the office sit on very different different sides of the fence on this one?

1:28.8

We certainly do yeah I mean I I am very much for it I've always been for it and that's not to say that I think the way

1:35.9

that it's been implemented so far is is perfect far from it but I think broadly speaking
