West Ham seen off eventually 3-2 at Anfield, despite forcing the Reds to come from 2-1 behind to win. The victory takes the Reds level on 18 for the record of consecutive wins in the top flight whilst also making it 21 wins in a row at home in the league equalling a club record set under Bill Shankly in 1972.
