And it's the aftermath of a 20 to 13 Patriots loss in the 2025 season opener to the Las Vegas Raiders.

First up, let's hear from Mike Vrable after the game talking about how things went in the second half.

We have to understand how sometimes these games are going to go.

And we just didn't do enough in the second half.

You know, give them credit.

And we certainly didn't do enough.

We were too many missed our opportunities, too many penalties, you know, things, you know,

the turnover and things that just, you know, again, just didn't take advantage of bad football and then we're able to, you know, have bad football ourselves. So, you know, we have to, we're never going to accept winning. We have to embrace moving on, and we have to do that quickly and get these things fixed and go on the road in a division opponent. Patriots scored three points in the second half. If you're going to

try and win the second half, three points isn't going to do it too often because the Patriots,

especially the Patriots right now, do not have what we would consider a lockdown defense.

Patriots allowed 362 yards passing to Gino Smith. That's on 34 attempts.

That's more than 10 yards per attempt.

A good, really good quarterback, he's averaging 8 yards per attempt.

A quarterback who's averaging 10 yards per attempt over the course of a career,

he's going to Hall of Fame.

Gino is not a Hall of Fame quarterback, but what he is,
