So sometimes you see a mouth guard as like a comforter around your teeth. It's like, I need to breathe.

So I'll take it off sometimes at 4 in the morning because I'm like, I'm enough of this.

of financial crime intelligence at Middlebury Institute of International Studies and oversees

the Financial Crime Management Program. She has published articles and book chapters on a variety

of topics related to threat finance and is a certified anti-money laundering

specialist and a certified financial crime specialist. Professor Rusin also consults for the

U.S. government, multilateral organizations, and the private sector. She's looking forward to her

retirement next month, where she'll be focusing her expertise on financial scams. Let's hear

joining us today. Thank you for having me. What got you interested in the field of financial crimes?

Let's start there. Oh, sure. Yeah. Well, I started out as an

economist, but I'm very curious about the world. I've always been interested in crime.
