lived, peacefully and privately. The disappointment of Collidoscope and the rejection of his

career as old-fashioned by the bosses at Universal was never mentioned.

Instead, Alfred Hitchcock and Alma spent their days walking, cooking, dining, and calmly discussing their many adventures, past, present, and those upon which they hope to embark

in the future. Indeed, despite their many years of companionship, the year of

1967 saw them form an even stronger bond. Hitch and Alma were like brother and sister,
