the zealot who had them in his sights. Zora Sadeghi was born in Iran around 1990. Due to the

international nature of this case, information about Zora is difficult to find. What is known is that

she and her husband, Mohamed Malad Nasiri, who went by

his middle name, moved to Washington State in 2011. At that time, it's unclear how long they had

been married, but Zora was 21 and Malad was 23. A life-changing move to the other side of the world

was for good reason, school and careers.

Working as a researcher and web developer in Iran, Zora attended the University of Washington

before participating in their Tacoma, Ph.D., and graduate programs.
