But what I thought we do today, we've talked about

starting seeds, we've talked about soil, we need somewhere to put that soil. And

for many of us that means a raised bed. And Joe has been doing raised beds for

quite some time.

Raised beds are the staple of my soil gardening as well.

So I figured, Joe, first of all, maybe we should clear up some of the questions that people have about the dimensions of a raise bed.

How big, how tall does it really need to be, you know, three feet deep or can I get away with

six inches?

So maybe just some of those general basics of how to size your raise bed.

Okay, I love it. Let's start there.

So first of all, you know, people want to know

how high, what's the minimum height I can get away with because you know money's tight you know the

woods expensive I don't have a lot of room so I would say this I would say that it you

know the minimum that you should shoot for is six inches high but the more the better up to you know anything

over 18 inches is overkill my beds are 18 inches but that's a nice height for
