And this is part three of our analysis of the abduction of Jody Housentrute,

In the first part, we were joined by retired crime reporter Caroline Lowe, who provided us with a

summary of the case and answered our questions. In part two, we discussed Jody's victimology

and began assessing her risks,

which were mostly posed by her profession as a news anchor.

Let's talk about her personal relationships.

And when we talk about her victimology and all of the personal relationships that she was involved in or that she had,

there's only the one relationship that stands out as potentially being problematic that we know of that has been discussed by many people. And that is

the relationship with John Van Sice. Lots of speculation that this was a jealousy or somehow he made a

pass at her. She rejected him. And then he killed her because of that. What are our thoughts

on that? It would be a more common scenario. And we do have our timeline, which indicates that she

had seen him, well, at least based on what he reported. And again, I'm not here to try to hang

John Van Sice out to dry as the suspect, but he is somebody that should be considered because it would be the more likely scenario.
