had a marvelous bank holiday? Well I've just called it a bridge not a bank holiday

shouldn't I? Yes, it's a festival, it's a public holiday here and I've just come back

from the seventh circle of hell which is also known as the Barca Warner which is the

Warner Brothers theme park on the outskirts of Madrid which on a very very very hot public

holiday it's not a good place to be so I'm very pleased to be back and I'm recording

this podcast with you Sidney. Let's tell everybody what happened on match day 32, a match

day that hasn't actually finished at the time of recording, we've still got Mallorca

against Athletic Club and Sevilla against Giordona but on Friday night we saw Real

Sociedad beat Ossasuna 2-0 and then Elce beat Raya Vajacano 4-0, yes that's the same

Raya Vajacano that beat Runaway leaders Barcelona a few days before and yes that's the same

Elce that have been bottom of the table for seven months. I wish there was a hashtag for

this kind of thing. There is, the hashtag is Raya Gon Raya, they're always going to be

Raya. Raya Madrid beating out Maria by four goals to two and a really entertaining game

at the Bernabéu and Barcelona beating Raya Betis 4-0 in another entertaining game but which

was conditioned by Raya Betis getting their 13th red card of the season. Sunday was all

about the relegation battle, Cadith beating Valencia 2-1 in a monumental game at the bottom

of the table, there was also a huge clash between Espanol and Catafé which Espanol edged

out 1-0 in Jose Borolá's first game back in charge of Los Afro-Lonis, we also had Virreal

beating Celtivego 3-1 and Athletico Madrid on paper, Thrashinge, via the lead 5-2 at the

Estadio José Thorea in reality it was a lot closer than the scoreline suggests. As always,
