This last week I called Spence who is one of our donors here at the

Dad Tired Ministry and I just asked him how he heard about Dad Tired and why he

decided to give. He said that he was not a big reader but he wanted to find

ways that he can grow as a spiritual leader of his family. He stumbled across the

Dad Tired podcast and what I loved about his story was he said I just as a

family we wanted to use every resource that we have that God's given us to

really expand the kingdom of God and he thought that Dad Tired was a great

investment into the kingdom and so I wanted you to hear his story real quick

real briefly before we jump into today's episode. My wife is an avid reader which

I'm not and so I was trying to find a way to obviously become a better dad

better spouse better Christian better follower and we kind of made the

decision that we always wanted to be able to give directly to the church but

we also in addition to that wanted to give some things some finances to some

ministries that were meaningful to us and that we thought you know had a great

impact on the kingdom so we really took that time to kind of to look over what

means most of us and your you know the ministry dad Tired was was very key it

still is so that's kind of what we reset and wanted to make sure we were

putting our resources that we were you know blessed with where we thought the

big impact was spent as one of 145 guys who have decided to partner with us on

a monthly basis and because of that tens of thousands of guys are reached

around the world with the gospel they're equipped to become the men that
