All right, I want to talk to you for a little bit this morning as we're kind of in transition between biblical passages about something my

wife and I have noticed of late that's been very very beneficial to us in our walk of

faith and it is based on the scenarios of life that we experience, you know,

and put yourself in these shoes. Imagine that you have been working very hard to provide for your family and then you suddenly lose your job.

You are laid off or fired.

Imagine that you've been working right along to be a faithful father or mother.

You've been raising your children and then some tragic circumstance happens where your child is injured or your child perhaps

even dies. Imagine that someone in your family has a health crisis and is hospitalized, intensive care, all of those sorts of things.

Now the common denominator in all of those things except for the fact that they are unexpected situations is that we tend to get very

worked up over those kinds of things right? I mean the feelings rise up to their

maximum level because there are things of concern that have come

into our lives and in those situations we have the opportunity to respond in one of two ways.

We can either respond according to our feelings, which is usually full of things like anxiety and fear and panic, and I know I am describing
