We have a lot happening here in Washington. Yeah, we do. Welcome back.

As I said yesterday in the podcast, Anna, soon people will be able to see us on video, which is a scary,

a scary thing. Considering I've already worked out this morning, I'm not quite sure that this is going to work

well with my schedule. I have put it off for years.

This is late. This is late. We're starting late so our team could get some rest this week.

But at the back end of a very busy reconciliation week and ahead of another busy few weeks on the hill.

Yes. So Bres and I and the whole team have been writing, and Bres has really

been the lead on this in saying this, but September is going to be messy for Congress. We are

125 days away from the funding deadline today, and the government funding runs out at the end of September. So the kind of the order of

operations here is it's May 28th. Congress wants to get a reconciliation bill to Donald Trump's

desk by July 4th. We'll see if that happens. Number, then we have, let's say they do it by July 4th. We have the July recess. Then we have

August. We have July and September. July and August, rather, before the September deadline.

The calendar stays the same every year, Jake. Calendors are difficult for me. So Patty Murray and

Rosa DeLoro, the top Democrats in the Senate and in the House on appropriations,
