Hello, hello, hello. I am Evan Jenkins. This is cash the ticket. And this week is a special week for cash the ticket because that is right.

The second major of the year is finally upon us. And that is the PGA championship out at Oak Hill Country Club and beautiful Rochester, New York.

The weather will start with that. It's not necessarily going to be great. Having said that, it's also not necessarily going to be bad. And what I mean by that is it's not going to be raining. So that is the plus.

The highs and Rochester are going to be in the upper 70s with the overnight lows going to be in the 30s, but you know, it's the weather and that forecast could change.

And the coldest day of the week is actually going to be today, which is Wednesday. That's in the low 50s. So 70s is actually going to be pretty damn good.

And there's only a few chances of thunderstorm. So it's not going to be anything that's going to be like the masters where it's going to delay it for a freaking entire day. So let's be happy with that. Let's be happy that we're going to see probably complete rounds of golf.

Every single day and that will start on Thursday morning at Oak Hill in Rochester, New York.

I'm also going to get this out of the way because while watching the PGA championship or reading on the PGA championship, you've probably heard or have seen this name. It's Andrew Green.

Who is Andrew Green, you might ask. Well, if you're familiar with Oak Hill, Oak Hill has gone under major reconstruction.

And they have tried to make the golf course look as if it did originally when Donald Ross designed it like the early 20s. I believe it is.

But Andrew Green is the architect who began the remodel of Oak Hill's East course in 2019.

Like I said, he had the goal of restoring it to the original Donald Ross design and people are raving about the golf course this week. And they're saying he succeeded and then some.

So people are are loving, are loving, loving, loving the changes to Oak Hill. If you're curious what the changes are, it's not simple.

Green remodeled every single green complex fairway and landing zone and his team removed thousands of trees with the goal of opening up sightlines and giving players more options off the tee. This is coming from golf digest.com.

They continue to say that the bunker in will be a huge factor this week as green deep and steep and many of the bunkers to the point where it could be tough to advance the ball.

All the way to the green at the player finds their way into one of these bunkers off the tee. It was also, of course, length into challenge the modern tour pro who hits it a country mile quote unquote.

This is a lot to take in. I believe the course is being played just under 7400 yards. So it is nothing crazy for these PGA pros. Also, don't forget this is not a USGA event. This is a PGA event.
