Let's start with the Lakers, Devils number. They're playing the Nuggets, Lakers plus five and a half and the public slight lean towards Denver, 55, 60% of people betting on the Nuggets, Lakers, a public dog. You don't see this often.

And I think it all comes down to how you interpret game one. Nuggets led by as many as 21, but the Lakers pulled within three points twice in the fourth quarter.

You can look at it and say the Nuggets are the better team. They're the one seat.

Yokech had a triple double in the third quarter and they let their foot off the gas. Cool. I see it differently.

I see Anthony Davis is healthy and don't take that for granted because we're all waiting on that weird Anthony Davis injury, but within healthy he owned Yokech in the bubble.

He had a big game one. It's a big deal that he's healthy. LeBron still LeBron. I'll back him over just about anybody in basketball.

And again, they nearly pulled this off in game one. They covered. Now I'm not asking for credit because I didn't step up to the mic and cut the episode, but if you had him six and a half or some of you had him at seven, you covered game one as ugly as that was that game was high scoring teams were shooting well, like maybe too well.

Maybe it cools off and Lakers, a good defensive team with a couple go to scores. They're supporting cast outside of Reeves did very little if you can get anything.

Another thing I'm kind of monitoring with the series is the chess match. Darwin Ham says we're going to be just fine. They made an adjustment in the fourth quarter that Mike Malone said. We've seen this before, but it worked for the Lakers. They put Hachi Mura on Yokech. They put a smaller wing on the Nuggets big man. It freed up Anthony Davis and it worked. It worked in that fourth quarter. It gave him a shot. It gave him life late in the game. Hell, I like the Lakers to win the series. You can get him a plus 200 right now. I mean, I'm half willing to tell you to take the money line tonight, but I hear Mike in my ears. And he says,

take your vitamins. Don't get crazy. Take the points. So five and a half is the Laker play tonight. Now I also hear Mike in my head going, what about the total? The Overs in this series, I think are going to be fun to bet. And I think they're going to hit. But after a hot shooting game one from both teams, especially from three. To me, it's a stay away. I don't want to bet the under in this series. But I just don't feel like tonight's a good spot to bet the over that you do with what you want. You do what you want. Lakers plus five and a half is the cash ticket daily dime.
