We shoot in real prisons.

Wait, so you guys go in the federal buildings or now?

Real prisons.

There's inmates just walking around.

So lunch that day, so lunch is always like six hours after call. Before we shot our scene, they broke for lunch. So I was like, okay, cool, I'm going to go to lunch. Lunch was in prison. Lunch was in the commissary in real prison. So I go on the elevator and there's, I'm with a PA, uh, which is a production assistant.

And there is also two inmates with a guard in the elevator.

And the guys were like, oh shit, it's Tarek's roommate from power.

I'm like, dude, this is insane.

I am so excited for today's episode.

I had the opportunity to fly out to Los Angeles a couple weeks ago and interview actor Gianni Paolo at Spotify State of-art podcast studio. In this episode, we get into how

You know what's interesting is that there's this world of individuals like yourself who are

actors who like play criminals in the show or just have no affiliation to being in jail

and they're interested in the content because they've never, you know, experienced that.

Right, right.

So it's cool that like the world like allows individuals like us to connect because in a different lifetime we probably never would have connected. Yeah, yeah, it's crazy. I did do some musical theater back of my day though. Where did you, you went to high school in Connecticut? Yeah, Danbury High School. I was in Montessori School for up until like seventh. And then I went to public high school.

And I actually owned a club. It was called Tuxedo Junction. Right. And we did like the chain smokers, Steve Ioki, like all these raves. And that's how I ended up going, getting into trouble and go out of prison. Wait, so what was it? Like I've listened to a lot of your videos, but like refresh it.
