start. I'm David Roth. Drew McGarry is on vacation, he's in South Carolina with

his family, tormenting his co-workers with photos. And I'm on Zoom with

managing editor of fan graphs, Meg Rally, who is joining us from Arizona early

in the morning to, I think probably you thought you were gonna be talking about

baseball, but I didn't sleep very well last night because of the 17 game NFL

schedule. And I just want to get on the record with some of that stuff. Tom already

had to deal with a lot of this. Meg, are you familiar with what I'm talking about?

Yeah, I'm a Seahawks fan, so I'm excited to be stressed and miserable about a

winning team for one game more. Are you concerned about them going 10 and

seven and then you having to look at that record and be like, that's not right at

all? Yeah, I am. I'm still wrapping my mind around last year's like final

standings for baseball. I lived through the pandemic along with everyone else

and it defined every moment of my 2020 and I will still fuck that up for the

rest of my life. Oh, we do swears on this, yeah? Yeah, you're not allowed to use

the F word. Oh, no, it's fine. You're terrible. No, we usually try to get them in

like under the like if we've gone two minutes without a harder core curse,

then usually we just go back and re-record the episode. So we're good because

that was like 137. Oh, boy. How are things where you are living pandemic-wise

right now? We always have to ask this even though the answers are always depressing.
