your understanding of god's word and that heightens your awareness of his very real presence

Well, if you listen often enough, you know we have our friend Than Bennett on this show for

what we call a faith perspective from the Hill.

Than serves as the director for government affairs for the ACLJ, and so he kind of works in the

upper center of politics.

And I always know, and Than is always aware of this, too, that when we address

some of the issues that we do on this particular show, it can trigger angst and frustration.

And, you know, I love my producers, Angie and Kim. They're such godly women. And they really pray

such powerful prayers before the show. And she just, Angie just prayed that our hearts would be open to what God

wants to say in and through all of us, right? And I'm just praying that we can open our hearts

and our hands and say, Lord, we believe that you are leading and guiding us in this day. We understand

everybody has differing opinions. Can we walk with unity? It doesn't have to mean conformity, but show mutual respect and honor for one

another. And I'm just asking for your grace as we navigate through these conversations and

these topics. We have hearts that love God. We love His word. We all know in part. So we all are

seeing some things, maybe a little off at times, but all that said,

if we don't talk about this, then who will, right? And so we want to bring a faith perspective
