about God's peace. You know that peace, the peace that passes understanding, the peace that defies our

circumstances, the kind of peace that settles into our soul where we know we are connected to the

star-breathing God. I mean,

think about that. Did you know the word shalom appears 550 times in the Bible? You know what

shalom means? It means different things, but the Hebrew word means peace, harmony, wholeness,

completeness, prosperity, welfare, tranquility. Shalom was talked about in the Bible.

It was practiced and pursued among Jewish people. But somewhere along the line, it seems

that we as God's people have stopped hoping for, even believing that Shalom is possible for

us in the land of the living. And I even hear sometimes people think and say that this promise is reserved for

heaven. But my guest today would say otherwise. My friend Dr. Jeremiah Johnston joins me today to
