I know that for so many of you, Thanksgiving is going to look a lot different this year.

It will for me as well.

Thinking back the Thanksgiving last year, I was dressed in an Elf costume walking through

the streets of New York City.

My wife or back in I helped carry a giant elf on the shelf float in the Macy's Thanksgiving

day parade.

The elf is just taking a little bit of a break here ahead of time.

That was a pretty unique way to spend the holiday, but it was special to be there for the parade,

and it's sad to think that it's not going to happen this year, at least not in the same

way.

And my dinner table is going to look a lot different this year as well, probably like

most of you, who won't be able to be with your loved ones because we're all trying our

best to stop the spread of the virus.

But sometimes I know it might seem like I have all the answers because on this podcast,

I'm often giving advice on how to stay safe, and I do base that on the best scientific

information I have.

But honestly, like you, I still have to make real life decisions as well at home with

my own family based on that information.

And I got to tell you, it's not easy.
