The title of our post is Thanksgiving, the Communion Meal.

appreciation for our many blessings. Although not widely known among most Americans, the holiday

is linked to the cross, our redemption, and the matchless grace of God.

The word grace is one of the most important terms in our language.

In its broader application, grace encompasses the incarnation of Christ.

His sufferings, the gift of our rebirth into God's family, and every benefit we

received from this. We neither earned nor deserved any of these blessings. They are ours only

through God's grace, his unspeakable gift bestowed on us from his great love.
