Howdy folks? Dominic here. This is just a quick message to say, thank you for listening to

the History of Egypt

podcast in 2025.

We had a reasonably big year narrative-wise.

We completed the reign of Setti I, and then embarked on that of Rameses II, one of

Egypt's most famous pharaohs.

In the process, we've covered some monuments and events, which are among the best known

in all Egyptian history.

Some of these I've been looking forward to ever since I started the podcast.

It's been a lot of fun to finally reach those tales.

Also, now that we're in the reign of Ramesses, we're going to be getting wonderful daily

life stories throughout his reign and the subsequent generations.

The Ramasid era is so well preserved in terms of small stories from ordinary folks, and

I'm really looking forward to sharing those with you.

We have one more episode to Roundout 2025. This is a news episode,

covering major discoveries and research publications over the last few months. The excavation season

for winter 2025 and 26 is proving quite productive already, so I'm going to break those down for you.

Then I'm going to take a break during January.
