Today, we're going to participate in the sacred practice of communion together.

Let's do that right now.

If you can grab a piece of bread or equivalent and some Jews to take communion and position your heart to focus on Jesus.

Have you ever taken the time to slow down and say out loud things that you're thankful for? Thankful for your life, thankful for your relationships, thankful for your work,

are just content with what's going on in your life. Maybe you have, maybe you haven't.

But let's take time to do that right now.

Thankfulness is a byproduct of realizing what you have

versus living in an ambiguous state of discontentment or comparison.

Slow down with me.

Take a breath. And let's lay down the things we wish we would

have and just be thankful for what we have right now. Luke 22 19 through 20 states, They lifted up a loaf.

And after praying a prayer of Thanksgiving to God,

he gave each of his apostles a piece of bread saying,

This loaf is my body, which is now being offered to you.

Always eat it to remember me.

After supper was over, he lifted the cup again and said,

This cup is my blood of the new covenant I make with you, and it will be poured out soon for all of you.

Take a piece of bread as the scripture states, and let's remember Jesus. Jesus offered himself as an offering for all sin and went through extreme pain so we can

experience God's righteousness, forgiveness, and abundant life.

Now let's take the juice as a representation of Jesus' blood that was shed for us.

Jesus' blood seals the covenant that has been made between us to ensure that we can be with God.

Jesus' sacrifice ensures that we can be in a relationship with Him.
