Do you ever find yourself knowing something is true, but having a hard time believing it?

Maybe you know your kids love you, but you don't feel loved right now. Maybe you know that you have a bright future, but you're having a hard time believing it right now.

That is a reality that we all face in life every day, consistently, all the time.

And today we're going to pray a prayer of affirmations that we are going to declare the truth, not around what we feel,

not around what we sense, not around what always is logical, but we are going to declare the

truth of what the Bible says. In 1 Corinthians chapter 2, verse 16,

the Bible declares that we have the mind of Christ.

The same thought process, the same way of thinking,

the same love, the same compassion,

the same trust that Jesus had actually belongs to you and it belongs

to me. Even if we have moments where our mind seems to go everywhere, maybe our mind seems anxious

or confused or wandering or unclear.

The Bible says, let this mind be in you,

which was also in Christ Jesus.

That is the truth.

I want you right now, picture yourself letting go,

and I want you to let go

of the way you feel

about your mind or your thoughts

and picture yourself

grabbing hold of the mind of Jesus.

In fact, take your hands, put them on your head and declare this over yourself. Say, I have the mind of Christ.
