I am Dave. I've been walking

for fitness since 2013, averaging about 21,000 steps a day. I am walking right now and would

love to have you join me for the next 10 minutes or so. First off, I want to say that I did

yesterday morning get up before the sunrise, about 30 minutes before the sunrise, and headed out to an area that had clear viewing so I could see the five planets in alignment with the crescent moon right in between.

The skies were clear. It was a perfect morning to see Mercury, Venus, the moon, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn in alignment. And I saw four of them.

Could not find Mercury, which is the one that is lingering most closely to the horizon.

And I just couldn't see it.

Still have another couple of days before, I guess at least one, if not a couple of the planets, disappear from view.

They call this the planet conjunction.

I think that's the astronomical term.

And if where you live, the skies are clear and you're willing to get up about 30 minutes before sunrise and take a walk, You can see at least several of the planets.

I've tried a couple of times and have never been able to view Mercury.

I'm at Beaver Overlook before I head back to the trail,

this wooded trail that I like to walk along and sure enough there's one of the

beavers, beaver overlook, there's a little hill near a stream on the other side is a beaver dam

house and if I get up early enough and get out here early enough I can is a beaver dam house.

And if I get up early enough and get out here early enough,

I can see some of the beavers.

And there's one that's just kind of floating in the stream.
