| 0:00.0 | What's going on, guys? Welcome back to the Dreamers, God, Fennis, podcast and a video show. Coming to you super quick on this Sunday, this will take probably less than five minutes. |
| 0:07.9 | But just something, if it is a Sunday, you guys happen to listen to this. Maybe it's afternoon, which is right now, or if it's tonight, or maybe even Monday morning when you wake up even better. It's just a quick rant I want to run on just because I see it so often. I've been blessed in this life for the past decade to work with literally thousands and thousands. At this point, it's got to be over 10,000 people or maybe even more than that. In person, it's into the thousands on the internet. We're into the tens of thousands for sure. But I get to see people outside of their element in a setting that is different |
| 0:39.8 | from a lot of things that they come into. They're generally not the expert of health and fitness. |
| 0:44.9 | That's why they come to us for coaching. They're, you know, mastering and craft. They're doing a career. |
| 0:49.1 | They're working a job. They're side hustling different projects. And a lot of those people |
| 0:53.3 | tend to hate their Monday through |
| 0:56.1 | Friday. They tend to hate the grind. They hate the nine to five. And the reason I want to touch on |
| 1:01.5 | this is because it's a Sunday and I used to have the same anxiety, especially about school. I |
| 1:05.4 | sucked shit in school. I hated it. I dreaded it even in college that I graduated, you know, uh, you know, um, |
| 1:11.9 | cum laude. So I graduated college with honors, but it was really hard for me to do. I had to basically kill myself in order to get there because it didn't come natural with me. And I still would have anxiety or what I used to call the Sunday sickness. In fact, I'm old you guys. So I used to listen to CDs for your young kids out here who never saw a blockbuster or like a face-to-music or on cue or a place that actually sold CDs for that matter. |
| 1:33.7 | But I remember when I moved out here, I graduated college and I was speaking with one of my good friends and he made me this CD called The Sunday Sickness because we would talk about this. |
| 1:43.5 | And he graduated college as well and was starting his, know career working a job as a teacher and uh we would have |
| 1:50.3 | this feeling and I had it all the way as a little kid and never could really figure out what it was I guess |
| 1:53.9 | because probably didn't know what anxiety was or didn't know what like stress was you know when you're |
| 1:58.0 | in you know fourth fifth sixth grade as early as I would feel it but But I remember hating Sundays. And I didn't even really like enjoying watching football a lot |
| 2:05.9 | of times because I, I would watch the game and I get lost in it and I would enjoy it, but I would |
| 2:09.7 | feel this like sickness in my stomach, like this pit that wouldn't go away. This is just |
| 2:15.0 | kind of uneasy feeling that never let me relax or just be free. I only got that like on Fridays or Saturdays or when I was playing |
| 2:22.4 | sports with a friend. That's why I would escape through fitness and sport because it was the |
| 2:26.0 | only place I actually felt free and didn't have this horrible sick gut feeling. And he anyways, |
| 2:32.1 | long story short, when I moved out here to the valley, he made me this CD called Sunday sickness. And he, anyways, long story short, when I moved out here to the valley, he made me |
| 2:34.7 | this CD called Sunday sickness. And then the other one was called Sunday pain medicine. And it's |
