It does for me, because honestly,

the rain gave me an excuse to

do as little as humanly possible and be a vegetable at my house with my husband and my dog.

It is even raining in Texas today, although it's a fair bit warmer than it's been in D.C.,

but we're still expecting people to turn out in their droves for the primary runoffs. We've

been looking forward to this one for ages, Dasha, haven't we? We sure have. The drum roll has been long. You bet it has. And I sort of feel like it's just petered off a little bit at the end. You know, everyone was wondering who was going to win. I'm sure people listen to this now. It's the incumbent John Cornyn against his challenge of Ken Paxton in the Republican Party's Senate primary race.

And it felt very touch and go who was going to win.

Until last week, Donald Trump swoops in, backs the challenger, Ken Paxton, says he's Mr. Magher and he should win.

And what do you think, Dasher, is that it?

Is that the end of the game?

I mean, from what I'm hearing, the deal seems all but sealed. The one caveat I'll give is

that Cornyn is not, you know, Thomas Massey or Bill Cassidy or some of these guys that have been
