collectively more than 10% of our power grid. Now, it's no surprise that calling the Green New Deal a

deadly deal led to an angry backlash that continues to this day. John Morales has written,

it's just revolting. politicians are quote deflecting blame and

gaslighting their constituents and the nation in an attempt to manipulate people's perceptions.

What are you talking about?

Well, I think we've seen a lot of examples of the post-truth era in the last five years or so.

You know, this is a time when objective facts have become less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief. So, you know, once a narrative that

serves a person's worldview is found, confirmation bias takes over. And, you know, people like Sean Hannity at Fox News, they're, they leverage that pretty

masterfully, actually.
