Good morning and welcome to yet another exciting edition of the Independent Republican

Mike Graham right here on talk radio. It is a wacky Wednesday in the wonderful weird world

of COVID-19, ladies and gentlemen, a world where the leader of the opposition is unable to

attend Prime Minister's questions today because he is self-isolating in the family home.

It is as perfect an allegory for what is going on as anything I can actually think of.

Deputy leader Angela Rainer will step in for the first time

and will go toe to toe with the Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

The Labour Party must have been listening to this show yesterday.

They've been shamed into it.

I was saying how ludicrous it was that they used Ed Miliband

when they should have used their deputy leader Angela Rainer. I'm sure she's going to be a lot more entertaining than Secere Stoner,

who really has bored us into submission over the best part of the last couple of weeks.

So we will be bringing new PMQs live from midday in the company of Charlotte Ivers,

and I think it will be rather a good one. Meanwhile, the round testing is back on, it seems there's always a problem with a testing system.

Either there's not enough people taking them, or there's not enough testing kits to go around,

or there aren't enough people to administer the tests, or the test don't actually reflect accurate results.

Now, after telling everyone they could get a test if they wanted one,

Health Secretary Matt Hancock says they'll have to start rationing them again. It's almost as if this government has some kind of masochistic streak, a need to hand people

a stick with which to beat them.
