In this episode of Narcissist Apocalypse, we talk with an abuse survivor named Terry, and Terry was trauma bonded to a manipulative physical abuser. They say it takes an average of 7 times to leave your abuser, but for Terry is was much higher. To quote Terry "It's not that I didn't want to break away from my abuser, it was just, I didn't know how to." However, Terry eventually did go no contact, and then took her power back in a very big way. 1:43.2	Terry is going to tell her story. And Terry's story is one where
1:48.2	she is extremely trauma-bonded and addicted to her abuser. And it takes Terry numerous times to
1:56.8	eventually break away from her abuser. And we always hear that it takes, you know,
2:03.1	seven times on average to leave your abuser for good. And for Terry, she was higher than that. And
2:11.1	this went on for a long time. And the trauma bond was extremely strong when it came to Terry
2:16.8	and the abuser. And, you. And once they were able to do
2:20.8	anything, you know, Terry was in a really, really bad spot. And I just want to thank Terry for being
