Hey!

My name is Matt.

Before I tell you my story, I need to preface it with what I do for work,

and a bit about the property that it happened on.

I'm a game warden for the state of Florida. If you don't know what a game warden is, it's a state police officer

who minors hunting and fishing regulations and chases down and seeks out

poachers. Because of my line of work, I spend a lot of time in the woods alone, both day and

night.

Chasing bad guys who typically are always armed with knives and firearms of sorts.

Another thing I do is spend a lot of time out on the water in a boat by myself again both day and night. Due to the nature of my

work I have seen and done a lot of unsettling things but you learn to live with it and

figure things out. I say all this because that means for something to

freak me out must be some seriously crazy messed up stuff. I do a lot of

hunting and fishing by myself in my downtime. I hunt in both Georgia and Florida. This

story happened in Georgia. My wife's family has a 70 acre farm in Georgia that we

hunt on. Lately there was a bit of a coyote problem.

They were attacking the neighbors' livestock

and really hurting the local deer and turkey population.
