Welcome back to Turning the Tables. Today we have Rick Davy here. Rick is a creative director and a founder of Fashion Week Brooklyn. He's someone who really helped a lot of designers and artists

get opportunities. We're going to talk about his journey and fashion, what he's built,

and how he turned the tables in his own life. Welcome, Rick. How are you? Thank you very much. Very nice to meet you.

How you doing? Very good. And I love that you have two interns here from France with you.

And that's so crazy. And like, you know, they're from Europe and they want, you know, to come to America to do internships.

And my daughter right now is studying in Barcelona. And like everyone

from America wants to go to Europe. So I love that. I love that too. Yeah, that's really sweet that

you have them here with you. We've been doing this for a long time. We love our working with the

interns and overseas. I love that. No, I love that. So we kind of guide them. Show them a little bit about American culture. They get to do a little bit of fashion. Yeah, and are you guys both studying fashion? Oh, they're not. Okay. They're studying marketing. Oh, marketing. Yeah. Okay. I went to school for fashion. Oh, really? Yeah, I went to Berkeley College for fashion

marketing and management and I have my associates degree. So my background's fashion before I got into the

whole TV world. Look at you. But it works together, right? Yeah, no. Because it has no wonder why you look so good.

For people who don't know you, how did you first get into the fashion world?

I went to NYU for film and TV and I think it's kind of still self-related because then I started
