Summary

The world and its wonders are not ours to own. Rather they are given to us in trust; we are their tenants. When we forget this basic fact, we invite disaster and degenerate into moral corruption. We must remember that we are servants and God the master.

0:51.0	The clouds are gathering.

0:55.3	Jesus is coming to Jerusalem, and so there's a darkness about these readings.
1:01.6	There's a heaviness, a sort of threat and danger about them.
1:06.3	In our account today, Jesus has just entered Jerusalem, and he's confronting the elders
1:13.4	and the chief priests, the leaders of the people.
1:16.6	Now we know from the Gospel tradition that Jesus is often at odds with these people.
1:22.0	Now those who are the great protectors of Israelite religion have gone off the beam,
1:27.7	they've gone off the rail, and Jesus rails against them.
