Summary

In today’s episode, you’ll learn about two cases of missing children who disappeared under incredibly suspicious circumstances. Cody Haynes was 11 years old when he disappeared from his bedroom in Kittitas, WA leaving his stuffed animals in his bed to look like he was asleep. In the days that followed, it became clear that Cody didn’t just run away and his father looked more and more like he might have something to do with his disappearance. Sky Metalwala and his mother were on their way to the doctor when car troubles left them stranded on the side of the road in Bellevue, WA. Sky disappeared from his car seat after his mother left him alone, it wasn’t long before people started pointing their fingers at her. For tip regarding Cody Haynes, please contact the Kittitas Police at 509-925-8534 For tips regarding Sky Metalwala, please contact the Bellevue Police Department at 425-577-5656 or email pdtipline@bellevuewa.gov Sign in support of Cody Change.org - Demand Answers for Richard Lee Haynes Jr. Please join us in making a donation to The Center for Missing and Exploited Children CWU Pulse Magazine - Abducted and Alone | Reddit - Extensive Write-up of the Disappearance of Cody | Fox News - Dad Skips Search | The Spokesman-Review - Without a Trace | The Spokesman-Review - Police Fear for Missing Boy’s Life | The Charley Project - Richard Lee Haynes Jr | Wikipedia - Kittitas, Washington | Wikipedia - Ellensburg, Washington | Kittitas County - Population | Wikipedia - Amber Alert | Amber Alert | Wikipedia - Sky Metalwala | The Charlie Project - Sky Elijah Metalwala | Talk Murder with Me - The Disappearance of Sky Metalwala | CBS News - Missing Washington Toddler Sky Metalwala | Kirkland Reporter - Police Say they have new information | Daily Mail - Revealed How Toddlers Suspicious Disappearance | NCMEC - Key Facts | NCMEC - Our Work | Our Sponsors: * Check out Kensington Publishing: https://www.kensingtonbooks.com Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands

which makes it a whole lot easier to put a podcast episode together.

0:31.0

However, we're super passionate about unsolved cases.

0:34.0

We discussed early on when we opted to create a podcast

that our goal was to contribute.

Whether it's spreading the word so that a name stays with the public longer,

0:43.0

or perhaps a tip gets called in,

0:45.0

or someone can learn something to help keep their family safe,
